Join Jaspar Lepak at the Northtown Public Library for a one hour performance of original songs inspired by books! With a guitar, a banjo, and a deep love for storytelling, Lepak will musically interpret stories such as On Writing by Stephen King, Like A Mother by Angela Garbes, White Teeth by Zadie Smith, The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood, and more! Lepak has been an avid reader since she was a child and loves combining music with her love for books. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and has released ten albums of original material. She has also been twice commissioned to write theme songs for books by best-selling novelist JoAnn Ross! Join us at the library for a free, one hour concert. This program is made possible by the Library Legacy Grant.
